While your new home is being constructed in the factory, not only are there additional inspections from an outside third party inspection agency and higher quality control, but our building materials are never exposed to the elements. This provides you with a cleaner home and one that has a far lower chance for mold, mildew, and pest infestation. Structurally, modular homes have to be built much stronger than site built homes. This is because each module must be engineered to independently withstand the forces of shipment to your home site and then being lifted with straps by a crane and set onto your foundation. Once together and with connections completed, the modules transform into one integrated wall, floor and roof assembly. Some complex finishes need completion onsite and are scheduled for done quickly after the installation of the modules on the foundation. You should anticipate moving into your new home in as little as 4-6 weeks after delivery of your home to your job site.
