A Way to Better Living With Modular Homes
Buying an Impresa Modular home can provide many benefits when it comes to getting quality modular homes at the best value. As America’s only countrywide modular home builder, our size and experience in building custom modular homes gives us several unique abilities. We share the savings we obtain through our use of modern construction techniques, value engineering, and volume purchases of building materials with our clients. We call it giving our clients more home for their money, all while delivering the highest level of service and support to you.
Using modern modular construction techniques allow us to deliver modular homes with the highest level of attention to detail. There once was a time when doors and windows were built on-site. But the pursuit of performance and innovation led to factory-built doors and windows of much higher quality and much greater energy efficiency. The art of home building is moving in the same direction. We are leading the way to a time where all new homes will be built in a factory environment. As a leader in custom modular construction, let the team at Impresa Modular share their expertise to provide you with an enjoyable home building experience.
Creating Your Modular Home
Building modular homes off-site guarantees higher construction quality management. Materials that are delivered to the factory location are safely and securely stored in a warehouse to prevent damage and/or deterioration from moisture and the elements. Just like you have come to expect with every product you use in your everyday life, stringent Quality Assurance/Quality Control programs promote increased quality of construction every step of the way. Why accept inferior quality in your home when you can select superior modular construction to protect your family with a healthy and safe living environment?
Delivery of your new custom modular home is generally scheduled as soon as possible after factory completion and your home site is ready. Almost immediately after your home is finished in the factory, delivery is planned after confirmation that the job site is ready. Once your home is delivered, Impresa Modular will coordinate the installation of your home on the foundation with an experienced set and crane crew. It all takes place very quickly at this point in the process. At this stage, the site and basement utilities get finished, the heating system is installed (if not factory completed) and the concrete and yard work are finished. In the final stage, the interior finish will be completed between the modular sections, this will include finishing floor seams, mate wall doors and jambs, and drywall and paint touch up. Most modular homes will be finished within approximately 6 weeks of delivery and ready for you to enjoy!
Modular Construction Brings You Custom Homes By Design
There is a difference between a customized home and a custom home. Some builders say they build custom homes but what they really mean is that you can choose one of their limited home plan offerings and move/remove a wall, or pick an optional kitchen or bath layout. That isn’t a custom home. A real custom home begins by defining your style, how you live, and how you want your home to support you. Some of our prospective customers start with one of our standard home plans and then customize it to their specific needs. Others find a custom home plan from our house plan partner’s website, Architectural Designs, and then we “modularize” it and build their new custom home.
A good custom home builder is an advocate for the homeowner. The home builder has to work with architects, designers, subcontractors, inspectors, and the homeowner themselves. Impresa Modular is the most experienced and knowledgeable custom home builder in the country that exclusively uses modern modular construction to deliver our custom homes to our customers. We want to start to work with you as soon as possible in the process of building your new custom home. We believe that the sooner we get involved and start assisting you in the building process, the better chance we have of helping you to create a better design and to possibly do it in such a way that can save you money. We want to give you the full value that modular construction has to offer!
Energy Efficiency
A home built to the 2012 Energy Code is roughly 15 percent more efficient than a house built to the 2009 Energy Code. A house built to the 2015 Energy Code is about 50% more energy efficient than one built to the 2009 Code. Today’s new homes must be more energy efficient. By including the Energy Star certification option to your new home, you could save up to $2,000 a year in energy costs and potentially more. Impresa Modular works with you to develop the perfect living environment. Attention to details like selecting a floorplan, selecting component features, lighting and heating are part of the process that defines our energy efficient custom modular homes.
Modern modular construction means less homeowner headaches. Indoor construction in a controlled environment means exterior finishes are finished last, instead of first. We can build your new home from the inside out, just the opposite of building outdoors. What this means to you is that the exterior envelope of your new home can be built to be more efficient. This just comes standard with modular homes and their construction process. More insulation, better sealants, and the use of high-tech materials are several of the reasons to select the worry-free benefits of modular construction for your new home.
